About Me
I'm Madi!
I’m a seasoned hobbyist turned professional photographer with a lifelong love for aesthetics. I’m inspired by warm light, candid moments, and the people I love most—my beautiful family. Originally from California, my husband and I both landed in Colorado as teenagers and eventually found each other here. Our two babies remind me daily why photography matters: life moves fast, and the details are worth saving. I feel most at home with portrait work, but I’m excited to grow with you through opportunities for family sessions, couples, senior photos, heirloom edits, and more! If you're looking for something specific that doesn't match one of the categories listed, shoot me a message! I'd love to work with you to create something beautiful.
Well, more about me: If you had told me years ago that I’d end up offering professional photography services, I wouldn't have believed it. Not because I didn’t love photography — I always have! I had just convinced myself that I could not actually do this - I’m naturally introverted. A little awkward sometimes, or all the times - who's keeping track? Quiet until I’m comfortable with people. Slightly odd in the way creative people tend to be. I was under the impression that people wanted someone super outgoing, endlessly energetic, effortlessly confident and I really just didn't exude it! No matter how hard I tried. I've come to learn people don’t actually need that. They just want someone who makes them feel comfortable enough to be themselves. The best photos usually happen right after everyone stops trying so hard. I enjoy takings photos of families, couples, and the occasional sports session with a relaxed approach that feels more like hanging out than being photographed. I’m not here to turn you into someone polished and overly serious. I’m here to capture your real personalities — the laughs, side glances, crooked ponytails, inside jokes, and tiny moments you don’t realize you’ll miss someday. Outside of photography, my life is powered by crochet projects I may or may not finish, quoting endless movies and shows - its a talent really - and reruns of RuPaul's Drag Race playing in the background while I edit. Honestly, just building a life I genuinely love is my biggest accomplishment. I somehow managed to secure an incredible husband, raise two beautiful kids, and have begun creating a career centered around preserving memories for other people doing the same. If you want photos that feel natural, playful, a little quirky, and unapologetically real — you’re in the right place.
